Not happy to stand still in an ever changing world Prima have enlisted the expertise and experience of their latest recruit John Waring who has taken on the role of Internet Technologies Director.

John started out developing web sites back in 1995 when the web was not at all as it is now. Working along side large scale corporations such as J.P. Morgan, The Bank of England, Lehman Brothers, Investec, Daimler Chrysler he was head of the design and development team producing on line procurement solutions. John also designed and produced Lyreco's first ever e-commerce solution back in 2000.

I left the stationery industry beck in 2002 and moved on to produce more complex web applications such as on-line school reporting system (national curriculum), on-line ticket box office automation, and media streaming CCTV solutions for mobile phones to name a few.. but I always kept in touch with my old stationery colleagues. I was surprised to find how things had not moved on since those early days and the web solutions being offered to the stationery market today, were not keeping up with the rest of the web.

I met Steve McLaughlin back in 2008 and immediately saw the potential of Prima and Internet. We talked about how we could produce the best on-line stationery procurement solution the market has ever seen..

Within a few weeks we had laid out our plans and I now find myself back in an industry that is in need of a complete on-line solution... A solution that Prima can deliver..
